Guillermo came to the United States in order to provide a better life for his wife and four children. With his wife, they opened a Mexican restaurant that has been open for over ten years now in Central Florida.

Francisco (San Pedro Sula, Honduras)

Francisco is my father and the inspiration for this series. I never saw a man work so hard and do so much for their family. He worked at a pump warehouse from when I was born till my 30s. No AC in the Florida Heat. It’s because of him and my family that my sister and I were able to graduate college and pursue our dreams. This is my small way of saying Thank you to him and other Latino fathers that came to the United States and made that same sacrifice for their families.
